Faculty, staff and students with special needs of NURE took part in the Week of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, held by the National Assembly of Persons with Disabilities of Ukraine from November 29 to December 5, 2021. This year it was held under the slogan “National Partnership – Concerted Accessibility”.
This year’s theme “National Partnership – Concerted Accessibility” expands the approach to disability issues, provides an opportunity to once again emphasize the interests of men and women, children and youth with disabilities at local and national levels, draws attention to the priority issues of people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Within the framework of the project “Professional training and education of specialists in prosthetics / orthotics in Ukraine”, funded by the NATO Trust Fund for Medical Rehabilitation of Military Personnel, training of specialists continues on the basis of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Prosthetics, Prosthetics and Rehabilitation, Department of BMI, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in cooperation with the German educational school P&O Human Study in accordance with the internationally recognized ISPO Category II standards.
According to the Information on the implementation of the activities of the Annual National Program under the auspices of the Ukraine-NATO Commission for 2021, the project has been extended.

On December 1, 2021, the Digital Competence Office of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics started teacher training under the project «dComFra – Digital competence framework for Ukrainian teachers and other citizens» (registration number 598236-EPP-1-2018-1-LT-EPPKA2-CB . Training will be conducted using the innovative digital learning environment created thanks to dComFra, and will be accompanied exclusively by professional tutors (teachers who, in addition to professional knowledge, have special skills in using the digital environment and have blended learning techniques). The curriculum offers digital competencies in 22 areas, from the basic to the advanced level. At the end of the training all participants will receive national certificates for digital competencies and certificates of advanced training, the best participants will be able to pass the ICDL certification for free in the pilot project dComFra.
The objectives of the project dComFra: to create and present an effective network of the Ukrainian National Digital Coalition, which is based on the Ukrainian HSE, profile associations, government and business structures; to develop and implement Ukrainian frameworks of digital competencies; to develop recommendations for changes in curricula / programs on digital competencies, in accordance with the Digital Agenda for Europe and modern labor market requirements; to create digital competency trainings for teachers and other citizens; to conduct a training course for teachers and other citizens.

Mykhailo Kizilov, a sixth-year student of NURE, took part in the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Inclusive Educational Environment: Problems, Prospects and Best Practices”, which took place on November 24-25, 2021 at the Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”, Kyiv.
Mikhail Kizilov presented a report: “Educational and social inclusion of people with disabilities. Interdisciplinary approach”.

On the basis of the Department of Electronic Devices of the Kremenchug National University named after M. Ostrogradsky International Scientific and Technical Conference «Physical Processes and Fields of Technical and Biological Objects» held since 2001.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss the current state of the analysis of the essence, properties and physical characteristics of processes occurring in complex technical and biological objects and systems, which forms the basis for the development of technologies for modern medical and technical diagnostics, treatment, as well as the development and production of technical devices of a new generation.

On March 3, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Procedure for forming the minimum amount of tuition fees for higher education on the basis of indicative cost https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/191-2020-%D0%BF#Text
Indicative cost is used as an indicator of the minimum cost of providing educational services to one individual – a higher education seeker and is used to establish the minimum amount of tuition fees provided by the educational service provider.
The meeting discussed the average amount of actual cash expenditures of NURE as a provider of educational services for the previous calendar year per one estimated higher education applicant, which is directly related to the provision of educational services for training higher education under the state order. The contingent of entrants is forecasted on the basis of the number of school graduates. The cost of training in similar specialties of other free economic zones is analyzed.
It is noted that the minimum tuition fee for higher education should be consistent with market conditions, competitive environment and contribute to the continuous sustainable development of the University.
These conclusions will be presented to the Academic Council for consideration and approval.

NURE employees joined the All-Ukrainian action “The Art of Donation” to promote free and voluntary blood donation in Ukraine. The “art of donation” provides an opportunity to overcome the stereotype that donation is something scary and sad. Donation is cool, it’s about life!
The slogan of the Kharkiv Regional Blood Service Center is “To save a life, you don’t have to be a hero, just become a donor!”

This research roundtable addresses how women can take more of a leading role in making Ukraine a prosperous and peaceful country.

On October 26, 2021, at the invitation of the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine, NURE employees took part in a webinar on the ZOOM platform, “ACCESSIBILITY: INCLUSIVENESS and RESPONSIBILITY”.
The event was attended by: the Government Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its representatives from different regions of Ukraine, representatives of structural units of regional administrations, members and partners of NAIU and other specialists.
