AI Department conducted an inter-faculty workshop on the analysis of interim outcomes of the secondments within the project “Deep Intelligent Optical and Radio Communication Networks” (MSCA RISE Horizon 2020). During the workshop, researchers and doctoral students of the AI Department shared their testimonials and results after their internships at the AI company “TurinTech” (UK).
In particular, participants discussed the conclusions on the analysis of the IML approaches which can be used for channel status and load forecasting and the list of IML algorithms that can be applied to address challenges in high-capacity optical and radio communications.

ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the world’s most prestigious programming tournament. More than 50,000 students from 3,000 universities worldwide take part in it every year.

From 26.08 to 29.08, the Ukrainian Championship among adults and juniors and the Ukrainian Cycling Tourism Cup among juniors were held in Kropyvnytskyi. The Kharkiv region was represented by Kira Shuban (ITINF-24-1), who took 1st place in the Velocross course and 2nd place in the Complex Course at the Ukrainian Championship.
