In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 20, 2020 (No. 392), the quarantine in NURE was extended according to the order No. 217.

From June 9 to 14, the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted the Educational Online Marathon on Admission 2020 to NURE  “Choose your future with NURE”, in the format of online broadcasts with the participation of representatives of departments, students and graduates of the university.  Filming and broadcast took place in the television studio, according to the planned schedule of performances, before each educational program, there was an offline part, which included commercials of the university (education, science, entertainment, sports) and commercials of educational programs, live online, in turn  , representatives of the department, students and graduates spoke.

Oksana Bolibok, a student of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, was among the winners of the Swift Student Challenge.  The winning students were selected based on their original application for the Swift playground, which is part of Apple’s annual WWDC student competition.

On June 11, the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of “Informatics and Cybernetics” took place on the basis of Vinnytsia National Technical University.  Master’s student of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Vladislav Sergienko, with the work on the topic: “Noise-tolerant block coding system for FPGA” (supervisor – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Design Automation Department Elvira Kulak), took the first place.

In order to adequately respond to modern challenges in a pandemic COVID-19, extension of cooperation with institutions of health, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics signed an agreement on scientific-technical cooperation with the State institution “Scientific-practical medical rehabilitation-diagnostic centre of Ministry of Health of Ukraine”

On May 28, the final online meeting of the branch competition commission of the International competition of student’s scientific works in the speciality 051 “Economics” took place on the basis of Kremenchug National University named after Mykhailo Ostrogradsky.  According to the results of the competition, a student of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Maryna Zinchenko, with a competition work on “Neuromarketing as a modern innovative technology”, received a diploma of the third degree.
