The Department of Electronic Computers of NURE held a meeting with applicants to promote non-formal and informal education. The main opportunities for applicants were presented, taking into account the specifics of modern IT companies and partners of the department, as well as the peculiarities of the process and benefits for applicants were discussed in detail.

Non-formal education – is an education that is usually obtained through educational programs and does not provide for the award of state-recognized educational qualifications by level of education, but may result in the award of professional and/or partial educational qualifications. It helps to obtain the necessary knowledge quickly and in a timely manner in accordance with the needs of the here and now.

Forms of non-formal education: full-time (trainings, master classes, seminars, workshops, etc.), remote (distance courses, webinars).

Information education (self-education) – is an education that involves the self-organized acquisition of certain competencies by a person, in particular during everyday activities related to professional, social or other activities, family or leisure. Such learning activities are not necessarily purposeful and structured, are not documented, but contribute to the expansion of professional knowledge and skills and are one of the key competencies of a person.

Forms of information education: one-time lectures, video tutorials, media consultations, communication with family, colleagues, reading specialized magazines, television, video, unplanned casual conversations.

The Law of Ukraine on Education allows a teacher to choose any of these types, but the most optimal would be a combination of traditional postgraduate training courses (formal education), courses, seminars and other events from non-governmental institutions, which will allow you to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills (non-formal education) and self-education (informal education), which will help improve your professional level.
