AI Soft team took third place in the All-Ukrainian hackathon

The goal of the hackathon was to develop an innovative solution that would make the self-service process more interactive and modern for Nova Poshta customers. One of the tasks was to create an AI assistant that would learn how to send parcels and answer questions about the company’s services and processes.

The team of the branch on the basis of the Department of Microprocessor Technologies and Systems of NURE submitted a work report for the 2022-2023 academic year, which confirmed the status of the “Girls STEM” branch and received a confirming certificate. Branch coordinators summed up the past year and created a plan of initiatives for the coming year. The #GirlsSTEM branch at the MTS department has been operating since 2020, confirming its status annually.

The “Girls STEM” branch actively promotes gender equality and sustainable development of the university’s CSD. Its activities, carried out as part of the “Springboard to Equality project” with the support of the Swedish government, are an important step towards creating a favorable environment for women in the field of science and technology. Initiatives implemented by the branch help to expand opportunities for women in STEM fields and contribute to increasing their representation in scientific and technical positions.

The Department of Economic Сybernetics and Management of Economic Security of NURE received fantastic news from The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA): the WARN project has been extended for one year, until November 15, 2024!
