TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF NURE TOOK PART IN THE FIRST WORKSHOP WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE DAAD PROGRAM “UKRAINE DIGITAL”

08.08.2022

In June 2022 a project was supported by the DAAD program “Ukraine Digital”, which involved teachers and students of several universities: from Germany – University of Hannover named after Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz), from Ukraine – Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University; Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics; Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology (Dnipro).

The project is aimed at combining competencies and support of Ukrainian partner universities of the Hannover University named after Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz in Kiev, Dnipro and Kharkiv.
The main goals of the project are to further develop and digitize the current set of courses in times of crisis, giving a perspective to faculty and students both those who have been forced to leave and those who remain in Ukraine. The project is aimed at creating and adapting training video content for the Ukrainian audience, which is necessary in terms of distance learning.
As part of the project the first workshop was held, which addressed the Creative Commons licensing system, integration of works of other authors in their own open educational resources (OER), licensing of audio/video media, open technical standards for audiovisual media, publishing video with an open license on the TIB AV-порталі.
Prof. Oleg Avrunin, senior lecturer Maxim Timkovich, students Olga Isaeva and Sofia Khudaeva took part in the event from the Department of BME.
Development of this direction will be implemented in conjunction with the Department of Computer Science (Department of Computer Engineering NURE) of the project in the framework of the international program DAAD Ostpartnerschaften “Virtual Cryomicroscopy”, whose idea was launched two years ago at the Department of BME to create a virtual environment full cycle and graduate students to interact with the laboratory equipment in a remote mode.

The implementation of this project will allow the exchange and integration of courses in the current structure of the European Higher Education and Research Area, which contributes to sustainable development and internationalization.

Working together for Victory!
