Participants in the DAAD Ukraine Digital OER4Ukraine project took an active part in a series of seminars dedicated to the creation of video materials for integration into the open educational platform of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover library. The seminars were held remotely on 15, 22 and 29 February, enriching participants with valuable knowledge and skills in the field of content preparation. The project involves scientists from the Department of BMI Professor Oleg Avrunin, Senior Lecturer Maxim Tymkovich, postgraduate student Andriy Sokolov and student Anastasia Boiechko-Nemovcha.
The implementation and dissemination of open educational materials is an important element in achieving the United Nations’ sustainable development goals. The dissemination of open educational resources contributes to increasing the accessibility of education and knowledge for the benefit of social progress and development.

Employees of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering NURE took part in the project “CYBERTEENS PLATFORM”. The aim of the project is to raise schoolchildren’s awareness of cyber hygiene issues through an online learning platform, which will contribute to their protection in the information space from social and digital threats, cyber fraudsters and extortionists, etc., as well as support their psychosocial well-being.
The CyberTeens online platform is filled with a variety of educational materials. In addition to educational and methodological materials, the platform also contains comic books, scenarios of possible influences on schoolchildren, incidents and common situations in which teenagers most often find themselves. In general, the platform is an extremely useful platform where students can not only learn, but also get answers to questions that arise, and through the feedback form, consult if necessary.

In early 2024, the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics will be the first to be established received equipment and software from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The technical assistance provided by USAID through the USAID Project “Cybersecurity of Ukraine’s Critical Infrastructure” includes 13 pieces of computer equipment (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, PoE Injectors, HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen10 4LFF STO Server, Switch, Network Storages) allow to rebuild and modernize the educational IT infrastructure of higher education.

The implementation of the Wildau-Kharkiv IT Bridge programme was made possible with the support of Germany and the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Wildau. On the Ukrainian side, the programme is being organised in cooperation with Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
