The training was held from 9 to 11 December. It was dedicated to acquiring practical skills and tools to support the families of missing persons and young people in difficult life situations today. The training included interactive immersion of specialists in the topic of indefinite loss and psychological and psychosocial features of supporting families of missing persons.
The peculiarities of supporting adolescents and young people were also discussed.

An indefinite loss is a situation when a person goes missing, and the family faces unresolved and prolonged grief.
The training covered the following issues:
- why indefinite loss causes strong feelings;
- the difference between loss through death and loss through missing persons;
- what adults and children experience in such situations;
- how to properly support people who are facing an uncertain loss;
- what mistakes should be avoided when communicating with victims.
The International Committee of the Red Cross supported the training.
It is essential to support every one of us in difficult life situations in wartime, and with the acquisition of practical knowledge, such support becomes more accessible and professional.
