On February 23, NURE representatives held an online meeting with Ali Takhmazov, Executive Director of the StrikePlagiarism anti-plagiarism system, and Anna Chudak, Development Manager of Plagiat.pl in Ukraine.
The University was represented at the meeting by Acting Rector Igor Ruban, Vice-Rector for Research Yurii Romanenkov, Assistant Rector for Information Technology Vitalii Tkachov, and Deputy Director of the Scientific Library Liudmyla Vlashchenko.
The Strikeplagiarism.com system is an IT tool designed to check text documents for academic integrity. Its task is to provide information that allows to identify the number of borrowings in the text.
During the meeting, the system’s capabilities were presented and organizational issues related to its use at NURE were discussed.
