On February 19, 2024, the Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship among adults was held in the city of Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. A student of our university, one of the strongest athletes of the strength sports section, MSU Oleksandr Shulepa (KIUKI-21-5), showed excellent results in squats – 230 kg, in pressing – 110 kg, in deadlift – 202.5 kg and in the total triathlon – 542.5 kg, took third place and won four bronze medals (three small in each movement and one large in total) in the weight category up to 83 kg at these prestigious competitions. But at this championship, Oleksandr will still compete in his age category and fight for a place in the Ukrainian junior national team. We are waiting for this performance and cheering for the student from our University!
