On November 15, 2025, a solemn celebration of the 50th anniversary of the V.V. Popovsky Department of Information and Communication Engineering took place in the safe environment of KNURE. The celebration brought together faculty members and students from different years, as well as numerous guests. There was also an opportunity to join the celebrations online.

Valerii Bezruk is a renowned educator and scientist, academician of the Academy of Applied Radio Electronics and the Academy of Communications of Ukraine, author of 300 published works, including 11 monographs and 10 textbooks. Since 2009, he has headed the Department of Information Communication Networks, and has now moved to a professorial position.
