From 07.10 to 25.10, senior lecturers of the department of systems engineering Svitlana Ponomaryova and Nadiya Kalaida together with assistant professor of the department of microelectronics, electronic devices and devices Oksana Babichenko took part in the development of a VR application under the project Wildau-Kharkiv-IT-Bridge-III / Wildau-Kharkiv IT Bridge III (DAAD Program Ukraine digital, Ensuring study success in times of crisis / DAAD Program Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis).
The team of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was invited to the Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences (Germany) to jointly develop a virtual laboratory that can be used to train students in conditions of lack of access to the university’s physical laboratories. In the virtual laboratory, students will be able to familiarize themselves with and conduct experiments using the latest development of the HyPhoX company.

From November 18 to 22, 2024, employees of the department of philosophy and social-psychological service of prof. T.V. Korobkina, Assoc. N.M. Dashenkova, Assoc. Bakalenko O.A. and Assoc. Mytseva O.S. received facilitation training in the program “Self-Help+: Group Stress Management Course”, prepared by the World Health Organization and conducted as part of Olena Zelenska’s initiative to implement the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program. The certification of specialists from this program is the first stage of the implementation of a scientific research project on the effectiveness of programs for the prevention of mental disorders among students with stress symptoms, the partner of which is our university.
The “Self-Help+” program will make it possible to make the psychological support of NURE students even more effective in the future.

Horting is rightly considered one of the most popular types of Ukrainian national martial arts. Built on the strong traditions of Cossack martial arts and the theoretical achievements of modern sports science, hortting is a bridge connecting the glorious past and bright future of the Ukrainian nation.
At the current stage of development of the sport, it is impossible to train highly qualified hortingists without a proper scientific, theoretical and methodological foundation. Since its inception, the All-Ukrainian public organisation “Ukrainian Horting Federation” has attached great importance to the scientific justification of training methods used in the preparation of athletes of different ages and qualification levels.

On 18 November, the first meeting of the Eastern Ukraine EDIH project consortium took place.
The project aims to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing, agricultural and energy sectors, as well as to promote the development of Smart City solutions for communities in Eastern Ukraine.
The Eastern Ukraine EDIH project consortium brings together the Kharkiv IT Cluster, National Aerospace University ‘Kharkiv Aviation Institute’, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Kharkiv Office of Reforms, and Cyber Diia platform.
During the meeting, they discussed the main areas of work of the hub and strategies for implementing innovative solutions for businesses and communities within the project.
Eastern Ukraine EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub) is a new initiative aimed at supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing, agriculture, energy, and Smart City sectors of Eastern Ukraine, which will be coordinated by a consortium led by the Kharkiv IT Cluster.

From October 28 to 31, 2024, representatives of the Universities – members of the consortium implementing the Erasmus+ project “Universities-Communities: Strengthening Cooperation” took part in a study visit to Bielefeld, Germany. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian Universities and the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands, as well as to study German experience regarding the interaction of universities with local communities.

As part of the series “Outstanding Events and Figures in the History of Science and Technology”, a roundtable discussion “Alfred Nobel – an outstanding engineer, inventor and philanthropist” was held in the reading room of the Department of Scientific and Information Support of Innovative Processes of the V.G. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library.

On October 31, 2024, an online workshop organized by the Department of Information and Communication Engineering named after V.V. Popovsky NURE within the framework of the Erasmus+ project Jean Monet module “European experience to increase the sustainability of critical objects in Ukraine”. This event became extremely relevant in view of the growth of cyber threats and challenges faced by Ukraine, and focused attention on the need to improve the security of critical infrastructure according to European standards.
The workshop was opened by acting Ihor Ruban, rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in matters of national security. He emphasized that the experience of European partners and modern approaches to the protection of critical infrastructure are key to strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities in the face of new threats.
