In order to improve cooperation with medical organizations, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has signed an agreement with Medical Center “Brigid”.
The object of Agreement is mutually beneficial cooperation in scientific, educational and outreach activities. The cooperation is carried out in exchange of non-commercial information, training specialists who can be employed or provide services under civil law contracts in the field of Biomedical Engineering and Health Care, and NURE staff advanced training.
The implementation of the following projects is in Parties interests:
– use modern medical technologies in the educational process;
– development of curricula and new educational programmes, considering the needs of stakeholders;
– conducting internships and training;
– ensuring employment of NURE graduates and students;
– organization of exhibitions, conferences, seminars;
– engaging in community outreach programs such as health screenings, educational campaigns and other events.
The parties agreed to work together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, including Good health and well-being.
The Brigid Medical Center is located at the S.P. Grigoriev Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology. It was founded in 2019. The center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases, orthopedics and traumatology, and dermatology. The Center has modern diagnostic and treatment equipment and uses advanced medical technologies, which allows it to apply a wide range of modern methods for the treatment of oncological diseases. Treatment of oncological diseases is carried out according to the standards of NCCN, ASTRO and ESTRO protocols. The patient’s treatment tactics are determined by a multimodal medical consultation, which includes an oncologist, radiation therapist, radiologist, oncogynecologist and urologist. This approach allows us to develop an individual treatment plan for each patient.
