Valuing scientific understanding and gender equality, L’Oréal launched the “For Women in Science” program in 1998, which aims to strengthen the position of women in science, support scientific excellence and help talented women scientists get the recognition they deserve.
The Ukrainian Prize is part of the global L’Oréal-UNESCO program “For Women in Science” and is implemented in Ukraine for the fifth year in a row.
In order to support scientific potential in Ukraine, the L’Oréal – UNESCO Award “For Women in Science” has been organized in Ukraine since 2018. In 2023, the Ukrainian award will be implemented for the fifth year in a row and is part of the global program of L’Oréal – UNESCO “For women in science”. For more than 25 years, this initiative contributes to increasing the number of women in science, encourages young female specialists to scientific activity, and helps talented scientists in their careers.
The award is held by L’Oréal Ukraine under the patronage of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO. Partners are the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Center “Development of Corporate Social Responsibility”.
Associate Professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Yana Nosova received the incentive nomination “Young Scientist” of the Fifth Ukrainian Prize “For Women in Science-2023”.
The NURE scientist received the “Young Scientist” incentive nomination of the “For Women in Science” program.
