Huawei announces a competitive selection for participation in the global program “Seeds for the Future -2020” (Seeds for the Future Sky Program 2020). The company has been implementing this project since 2008. It started in Ukraine in 2016 and is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

On October 1, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, together with other educational institutions, took part in the All-Ukrainian Day of Cyber Security, which took place online. The aim of the event was to increase the level of cybersecurity by spreading knowledge about cyber hygiene and safe handling in cyberspace, to promote best practices in cybersecurity for students with the participation of public authorities, public associations and business.

The Kharkiv national team, which includes employees of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Tamara Gorshankova, associate professor of Physical Education and Sports Department, and Svitlana Stiopina, Editor-in-Chief of NURE TV Center, won the regional cheerleading championship in the 25+ category. Now the athletes are actively preparing to participate in the European Championship.

September 25, 2020, Workshop “Facilitating building an open secure and sustainable society in the context of hybrid threats basing on the approaches of the Baltic region” brought together (by Zoom meeting) the WARN project team (Project of EU programme Erasmus+ “Academic Response to the Hybrid Threats” #610133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) and other academicians of the universities consortium – members. The workshop addresses issues of the elaboration and approaches to building a sustainable and secure society which were taught in online security courses at the University of Tartu, Estonia (WARN project partner). The main report was made by Ph.D. Associate Professor Victoria Kontsur (Donbass State Pedagogical University is a partner of the WARN project).
This workshop is a piece of contribution of the WARN consortium to the activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, including promoting a peaceful and inclusive society and strengthening the means of implementation and revitalizing the global partnership for sustainable development.

On September 25-26 in Kramatorsk the XXIII volleyball tournament among sports veterans in honor of the Olympic champion Stanislav Lyugailo was held. In the nomination “Men 60+”, the Kharkiv national team included Igor Kondratyev, assistant to the Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The Kharkiv national team won gold medals and won the Cup.

The result of scientific research to promote the development of environmentally sustainable biotechnology in the agro-industrial complex was a seminar with the participation of scientists from the BME Department, which took place on September 29, 2020 at Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture named after Petro Vasylenko.
