On September 30, representatives of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, including Oleksandr Filipenko – Dean of the ACT Faculty, Iryna Svyd – Head of MTS Dpt, Serhiy Novoselov – Professor of CITAM Dpt and Pavel Galkin – Senior Lecturer of DOED Dpt, joined the initiative and took part we took part in the constituent meeting of the public union “Kharkiv cluster IAM”, which was held in the Small Hall of the Kharkiv City Council, where only a week ago a meeting on the project “Ukrainian Silicon Valley”was held. At the meeting, the Charter was approved, the governing bodies of the IAM Cluster were formed, the General Director was elected, and the process of registering a public union began.
The Industrial Cluster, IAM Cluster of Kharkiv Region, was established on the initiative of a number of organizations and institutions of the city and in accordance with the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Association of Industrial Automation Enterprises of Ukraine (APPAU) and Kharkiv City Council https://appau.org.ua/publications/clusterise-proyekt-rozvytku-klasteriv-iam-v-regionah-zaporizhzhya-ta-harkova/
The IAM cluster is designed to bring together a wide range of participants: small and medium-sized businesses, large enterprises, universities, research institutions and laboratories, incubators, technology transfer centers, etc., with the involvement of state and local authorities. This will ensure the growth of the economic potential of the Kharkiv region through increasing the competitiveness of cluster members and the development of a regional innovation ecosystem of industrial high-tech sectors.
