Every year, on the fourth Saturday of November, the international community commemorates the victims of the Holodomors in Ukraine.
The NURE community honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence. The University History Museum hosted a lecture and meeting with historian Valery Leik, who spoke about the tragic times experienced by Ukrainians in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Those present had the opportunity to see rare exhibits from the time of the Holodomor and listen to the stories of the families who suffered.
