Researchers from Biomedical Engineering Department at NURE, in collaboration with the Head of the Department of Radiology and Radiation Medicine at Kharkiv National Medical University and the Head of the Department of Medical Radiology and Oncology at the Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology – Viktor Starenkyi – have published a textbook entitled “X-ray Imaging Systems”.
The publication is the result of many years of inter-university collaboration with the Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology, as well as the authors’ practical experience in medical imaging, software development, and methods for processing and analysing diagnostic images.
The book is intended for students at all levels of higher education as well as for a wide range of specialists in the fields of medical physics and introscopy, and practising doctors. Printed copies of the textbook, together with the electronic version, have been donated to the scientific library of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics for use in educational and research activities.
