4th year student of ITKN-16-5 group Kizilov Mikhail took 5th place at the 64th Chess Championship among athletes with impaired vision, hearing and musculoskeletal system.  The championship was held on February 25, 2020 at the Kharkiv Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports of Persons with Disabilities «Invasport».  «Invasport» is a system of physical education and sports for persons with disabilities, operating in Ukraine at the state level. The main focus of the «Invasport» system is the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities by means of physical culture and sports, their integration into society.

On February 18, the Jean Monnet Program was presented at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.  Within the framework of the event, the first lecture on the development and features of the EU Digital Single Market for first year students of all NURE departments was held.

On February 20, at the Museum of History of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, together with the Department of Informatics, an exhibition dedicated to the memory of Yevgeny Putyatin – Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, S.I. Mosin Prize Laureate, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, was held  Department of Informatics, founder of the scientific school “Image Recognition”, who from 1963 until the last days of his life worked at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

On October 11, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics joined the EU Code Week initiative, during which teachers of the Department of System Engineering shared their knowledge in the field of IT with pupils of grades 7-11.

Popovsky.

On October 11, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics joined the EU Code Week initiative, during which teachers of the Department of Systems Engineering shared their knowledge of IT with students in grades 7-11.  Within the EU Code Week and the work on the Erasmus + project “Digital Competence Framework for Ukrainian Teachers and Other Citizens” dComFra, practical training on MS Office components and databases was conducted with students.

 As a result of NURE’s work, it has received a certificate for successful completion of all EU Code Week 4 2019 tasks.

7th Charity Basketball Tournament for children with disabilities finished this week.

The competition was attended by 12 teams: 4 teams of students and athletes from the basketball school @schooll.basketball.kh, 2 teams of girls, a team of graduates, students and just friends who have supported our project annually for 7 consecutive years.  The competitions turned out to be quite interesting and full of bright game moments.  Athletes demonstrated good play and goodwill!  The “Mamba” and “Legion” teams met in the finals, and the “Legion” team won in a stubborn fight.

Ministry of Education and Science published the detailed distribution of funds from the state budget between the institutions of higher education. 2020 call are funded by the formula, where the universities with the best performance get more funding compared to last year’s budget, the decision was taken by the Government on 24 December 2019.

We invite students and employees of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics to take part in the VII Kharkov International Marathon, which will be held on April 12, 2020 at distances of 4.2 and 1.6 km. Participation is free.
