On November 07, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held a working meeting on the interaction of higher education institutions with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the field of international activities, attracting and supporting foreign students, expanding the presence of Ukrainian higher education institutions in the international arena, developing Ukrainian studies at foreign universities in partnership with Ukrainian higher education institutions, expanding opportunities for the implementation of joint educational programs, as well as international technical assistance and European integration.

ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) is the world’s most prestigious programming tournament. More than 50,000 students from 3,000 universities worldwide take part in it every year.

From 26.08 to 29.08, the Ukrainian Championship among adults and juniors and the Ukrainian Cycling Tourism Cup among juniors were held in Kropyvnytskyi. The Kharkiv region was represented by Kira Shuban (ITINF-24-1), who took 1st place in the Velocross course and 2nd place in the Complex Course at the Ukrainian Championship.

Oleksandr FILIPENKO), 6 students of the Faculty of ACT (Svitlana BEDENKO, Valeriia HRYZHAK, Anna OMELIANENKO, Anastasiia PRYLIPKO, Anastasiia SOLIANYK, Anna SHEVCHENKO) and 3 students of the Faculty of KN (Maria VAROVA, Iryna DEREVIANKO, Maria TOKHTAMYSH) took part in the international training programme ‘2nd Summer School Green Transition for Ukrainian students’ at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WroclawTech), Republic of Poland.

Today, Igor Ruban, Acting Rector of NURE, has opened a new university project for Kharkiv schoolchildren. Within its framework, free offline classes in mathematics, physics, Ukrainian and English are planned.

The NURE team consisting of Igor Barenblat, Valerii Hrynenko and Kostiantyn Denysov took part in the European Champions Tournament organised by the University of Naples in Cyprus, where the strongest teams from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland and other European countries competed. The head of the Ukrainian delegation at all competitions and the coach of the NURE team was Associate Professor of the PE Department O. Vechur.
