On November 16-17, 2024, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted the III final stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Programming Olympiad, which also became the semifinals of the ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) World Championship among student teams in the Southeast European region.
The competition was attended by representatives of eight countries: Ukraine, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
This year’s semifinals were held at two locations: Lviv University, where 36 Ukrainian teams competed, and the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, which hosted 58 teams from other countries in the region.
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was represented by two teams: KhNURE_KoRoVa! and KhNURE_SS_Vechur_One_Love.
Congratulations to the team KhNURE_KoRoVa! (Kostiantyn Denysov, Valerii Hrynenko, Roman Pitsura), who won gold and reached the European finals!
