The Ukrainian national student hockey team, which includes a student of ITINF-23-2 group Zakhar Kasatonov, won bronze medals at the Winter Universiade “Olympiad among Students”.
In the group stage, the team took 5th place and reached the playoffs to take first place in another group. After beating the Czech Republic, they played a match for either the final or the 3rd place game against Slovakia.
Despite losing this match, they continued to play against the US national team. Thanks to the efforts of the entire team, they managed to win with a score of 5:3 and win medals that Ukraine has not won in 24 years.
