The opening of the Cyber Action Innovation and Competence Center in Kharkiv has recently taken place. The Center was opened on the basis of Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics (NURE) with subordination to the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department. The Regulation on the Cyber Action Innovation and Competence Center at NURE was approved at the October meeting of the Academic Council of our university.

The head of the Center is Professor of the V.V. Popovskyy ICE Department Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Yevdokymenko M.O..

Thanks to the long-term cooperation of the BME department with the KZ “Kharkiv Lyceum No. 147 of the Kharkiv City Council”, which was started by assistant professor Yana Nosova, this year schoolchildren are being prepared to participate in the competition of research works of the Academy of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics.

On November 20, the department was visited by 10th grade student Vladyslav Orobey and physics teacher, specialist of the highest category Pukhtinova L.I. The head of the department, Professor Oleg Avrunin, introduced the newest equipment for neuronavigation and neurosurgery, demonstrated a device – a rangefinder for recording distances to an object.

On the eve of International Students’ Day, Acting rector of NURE Ihor Ruban met with the winners of the competition, which was dedicated to finding ideas for implementation in the First among the best.

Ihor Viktorovych carefully studied all proposals, noted the creativity and unique ideas of the contestants, and chose Anastasia Prylipko, AKTSIu-23-1, as the winner.

Graduate student of the department Ibrahim Yunuss Abdelhamid took part in the events of the World Health Care Exhibition in the period from October 29 to 31 in the capital of Saudi Arabia – Riyadh. Ibrahim Yunuss Abdelhamid is leading the way for change, research, development and innovation in biomedical engineering in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with Vision 2030, through his effective contribution to the success of the innovation initiative for human health. He supervised the progress of the scientific innovation competition, the results of which were announced during the event. This confirms the quality of scientific products of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and strengthens the leading role of the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the technologies of education and quality training of specialists under the leadership of Professor Oleg Avrunin.

Another achievement of this team of authors during the exhibition was the receipt of an international patent for a device for testing nasal breathing in the Republic of South Korea.

NURE COOPERATION WITH NGO “CYBER SECURITY SCIENTIFIC ASSOCIATION OF UKRAINE”

The main goal of the project is the reintegration of male and female veterans through career guidance, training, internships and support for employment in administrative service centers and IT companies in specially created  “Cyber Diya” competence and innovation centers.
The project is aimed at improving the digital and entrepreneurial skills of veterans and promoting professional development and reintegration into civilian life. The project provides for the training of veterans by teachers from leading universities of Ukraine and mentors from IT companies.
The project is implemented by the NGO “Scientific Association of Cyber Security of Ukraine” and is financed by assistance from the governments of Canada, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain and the United States.

Within the framework of the project, the regional Center of Competences and Innovations “Cyber Diya” was created in NURE.

The decision to create the Innovation and Competence Center “Cyber Diya” of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was approved by the Academic Council in October 2023. The project manager is a professor of the department of the Institute of International Studies named after V.V. Popovsky Maryna Evdokimenko reported on the goal, tasks and expected results of the project.

On Friday, October 27, another online ZOOM meeting of the international project Green Transition in Ukraine Universities GTUA, financed by the Polish Agency for Academic Exchanges NAWA, took place. The staff of the CITAR department took part in the meeting  prof. Oleksaner FILIPENKO and prof. Olena Tokareva.

The process of conducting self-assessment according to green standards in education (GTUA self-assessment Education), scientific activity (GTUA self-assessment Green Research) and campus (GTUA self-assessment Green Campus) was discussed, as well as the completion of work on training courses-microcredits – Green and SMART Transport microcredential.
