EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE REGARDING THE THIRD MISSION OF UNIVERSITIES04.12.2023
From November 6 to 10, representatives of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Maksym Kolisnyk and Vasyl Rossikhin took part in the UNICOM Study Visit to Lund University (Sweden) as part of the implementation of the project “Universities-Communities: Strengthening Cooperation (UNICOM)” (Universities-Communities: strengthening cooperation – Erasmus+project UNICOM).
During the visit, our employees studied and exchanged experience regarding the implementation of the third mission of universities at Lund University, which is one of the 100 best universities in the world, founded in the 17th century. and has more than 45,000 students, of which 28% are foreign students from 130 countries, 266 educational programs, international cooperation with 670 universities from 75 countries of the world. As part of the study visit, representatives of the “Community Universities: Strengthening Cooperation (UNICOM)” consortium visited the Vattenhallen Science Center. Vattenhallen is the research center of Lund University and Sweden’s regional resource for technology and science education. Experiments and exhibitions are included in all educational programs at Lund University. University departments and local businesses shared their experience and knowledge in developing new experiments. Together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the universities of Ukraine, Germany, Latvia, and the Czech Republic, the possibilities of cooperation with the Office of Cooperation, the Innovation Office of Lund University, the development of cooperation in Sweden and the potential of new projects with our partners were considered and discussed.
