GTUA NAWA 2023 project: a working meeting of NURE scientists and Technical University of Darmstadt

From November 13 to 18, 2023, a working meeting on the Green Transition in Ukraine Universities GTUA NAWA 2023 project was held at the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany). It was attended by the project coordinator at NURE, Dean of the Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies, Prof. Oleksandr Filipenko.

The project participants got acquainted with:
-The achievements and activities of TU Darmstadt, which is the main coordinator in the Unite! University consortium (Dr. Jana Freihöfer and Dr. Andreas Winkler)
-the work of the TUDa Office for Sustainability (Johanna Schulze);
-The activities of the Technical University of Darmstadt within the framework of the European Green Deal & TUDa (Prof. Dr. Michelle Knodt);
-scientific achievements of the Research group Emergencity (Dr. Joachim Schulze).

The participants also visited the Lichtwiese TUD campus, where representatives of the research group presented the results of the Solar Decathlon-House 2007 project and the Rainwater facility, a system for collecting and using rainwater.

The Chief Coordinator of the GTUA NAWA 2023 project, Prof. Dr. Mariusz Mazurkiewicz (WroclawTech University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw, Poland), led the discussion of current project implementation tasks and the formation of green self-assessment reports of partner universities in the field of Green Research, Green Education, Green Campus, which took place at the Campus City Center TUD. In addition, a work plan was formed for the next period of the project, in which NURE is an active participant.
