On 17 November 2023, a meeting was held between the Dean of the Faculty of Publishing, Printing, Information Technologies (FPIT) of the Ukrainian Academy of Printing, Ihor Myklushko, and the Head of the Department of Media Systems and Technologies of NURE Zhanna Deineko.
The Department of MST has been fruitfully cooperating and maintaining friendly relations with the Ukrainian Academy of Printing since 1997. The history of this educational institution began in 1930, when the printing faculties of the Kharkiv and Kyiv Art Institutes were merged to create a single higher education institution for the professional training of specialists in printing and publishing. However, the UIA remembers its Kharkiv origins and actively engages in partnership with the relevant department of NURE.
Therefore, colleagues from the Ukrainian Academy of Printing gave the guests a meaningful tour of the Academy. They introduced the collection of curiosities and a unique selection of exhibits collected by teachers and students, as well as an exhibition of student works, which also includes works by students of the 186th speciality of NURE.
Finally, a meeting was held with the Rector of the Academy, Bohdan Durniak, to discuss further partnership, joint participation in research projects and grant programmes in the educational sphere, research activities and training of highly qualified specialists.
