On June 4, the final of the II All-Ukrainian contest for young researchers named after Georgy Gamov took place at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics on the basis of Synergy Science Park, under the patronage of Rector Valerii Semenets and with the support of the French Embassy in Ukraine and the University Francophonie Agency. This year the competition gathered a record number of participants – about 40 finalists from 12 universities of Ukraine, seven of which represented NURE.
In the category of bachelors/masters the winner was a 3rd year student of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Marie Mafaman. 2nd prize for a 4th year student of the Department of Computer Engineering and Management Mikhail Litvinenko. The winner of the competition was Andriy Tsenin, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Computer Science. In the category of young researchers, the 2nd prize received Oksana Tsukan, Ph.D., a member of the Jean Monnet project, which is implemented at the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. All winners will receive valuable prizes from the French Embassy in Ukraine and the University Agency of the Francophonie.
