NURE scientists took part in the International scientific conference ELNANO – 2019

16-18 April at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky” the International scientific conference “ELECTRONICS AND NANOTECHNOLOGY” (ELNANO-2019) is held. Interviews for participation in the double-degree program with the University of Limoges start in NURE

Associate Professor of BME Department took part in a press conference on the commissioning of brachytherapeutic complex

On March 27, 2019 there was a press conference of representatives of Grigoriev Institute for Medical Radiology NAMS of Ukraine. The participants of the press-conference talked about the commissioning of the brachytherapy complex with the high dose rate source of radiation. This device is unique due to the highly active miniature radiation source of 3 mm in length and 1 mm in diameter. It allows irradiation of tumors of inaccessible localizations that can’t be treated by other methods. The complex includes modern radiation treatment planning techniques and the INVIVO dosimetry system for precise dose control. The only one SagiPlan planning system in Ukraine as well as the positioning system “Civco EX3” allows an accurate delivery of the calculated dose for brachytherapy of prostate cancer and pancreatic cancer as an independent method of therapy which is new direction for our country.
