On November 6, the Presidium of the Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine in the Field of Science and Technology extended the payment of scholarships of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to young scientists of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. According to the resolution, the scholarship holders are: Iryna Perova – Professor of BME Department, Yana Nosova – Senior Lecturer of BME Department, and Associate Professor of CITAM Department Irina Botsman.

On November 8, the results of the third stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of research works of students – members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine were summed up.
Following the results of the competition, the student of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Igor Michurin took the second place in the section “Multimedia systems, educational and game programs” (Department of Computer Science), Vladislav Surkov and Ivan Geenko in the section “Computer Systems and Networks” (Department of Computer Sciences) – won second place.
In the section “Aircraft and rocketry, mechanical engineering and robotics” (Department of Technical Sciences) the third place was taken by the student of NURE Sofia Ivanova.

On November 4, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Valerii Semenets signed a Grant Agreement to launch the Jean Monnet project 621250-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE on “Integrating the EU Cyber Security Framework and Policies”(CyFra), which received funding in 2020 under the European Union program – ERASMUS +.

On October 24, for the first time online, the annual international programming Olympiad Proggy-Buggy Contest 2020 from DataArt took place. More than 1000 participants from 16 countries took part in the competition (Argentina, Armenia, Greece, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, Netherlands, France, Kazakhstan, Great Britain, USA, Belarus, Switzerland, Canada, Azerbaijan, Israel).
