Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Professor Oleg Avrunin took part in the meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine on engineering. During the work, the issues of state certification of higher education institutions and relevant indicators of the quality of training of applicants, as well as changes in the system of financing of higher education were discussed.  The strategic goals of Higher education in Ukraine for the next five years, in particular the introduction of specific opportunities for autonomy of universities, are highlighted.

On the occasion of the professional holiday – Day of lawyer, the Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council Sergii Chernov presented the Gratitude for the considerable personal contribution to the development of legal state, strengthening of law and order, protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, conscientious and fruitful work, high professionalism, to the Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy  Olena Turuta.

On October 5, 2019 the delegation of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics visited the official inauguration of the academic year at the WSJ University in Bydgoszcz (Poland), which is a long-term European partner of the University of Radio Electronics in Erasmus projects, double diplomas, summer and winter schools for students.

On October 01, a regular meeting of the National Agency for  Higher Education Quality Assurance  took place in the premises of the National reserve “Sofia Kievskaya”, where a number of topical issues were considered, in particular, the approval of the register of experts for accreditation examinations.

October 2 at the NURE stadium a sports festival dedicated to the International day of University sports was held. During the holiday, a parade was held, where 30 sports were presented. Also during the event there was a summing up of the Games among the faculties and awards.

September 6-8 in Sozopol (Bulgaria) with the support of the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine was held VIII international IEEE conference with modern optoelectronic and laser technologies CAOL*2019, which became a forum of scientists in the field of laser physics and optoelectronics, Photonics, nanotechnology, material physics, nonlinear optics, quantum optics and optical communications. A characteristic feature of the conference is the emphasis on mathematical, physical and technological aspects of modern optoelectronics.
