Professor Oleh Avrunin’s open lectures at the V. G. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library

NURE is actively engaged in the promotion of science, particularly STEM. NURE strives to show the importance of technical and exact sciences in the modern world, inspiring a new generation of researchers and innovators. The Department of Scientific and Information Support of Innovative Processes of the V.G. Korolenko Kharkiv State Scientific Library’s reading room regularly hosts round tables to promote scientific research among everyone. NURE Professor Oleg Avrunin participated in these events since 2013.

The topics of the roundtables concern the achievements of prominent world and Ukrainian scientists, revolutionary discoveries in the history of humanity, innovative technologies, and the implementation of scientific ideas and developments. The events are accompanied by demonstrations of natural exhibits, working models and historical miniatures. The purpose of the roundtables is to show how scientific and technical thought and the introduction of openness affect the development of humanity. The roundtables are open to all those interested in the history of science, as well as students and researchers.
