Academic Council Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics approved the introduction of mandatory annual training for employees on environmental aspects of sustainable development. The course “Sustainable Development Goals: Ecology, Society, and Governance” became part of the university’s staff development programme.
The initiative aims to disseminate knowledge about responsible attitudes toward the environment, social equality, and efficient resource management. As part of the course, university faculty and staff will learn about the key principles of sustainable development, the UN’s global goals and practical tools for their implementation in education and research.
Presenting the course, NURE Vice-Rector Vasyl Rossikhin emphasised that the University, as a centre of knowledge and innovation, should be an example of a responsible attitude to the environment and society. This course will help our team integrate sustainable development principles into everyday work and educational processes.
The training covers all university employees – from teachers to administrative staff. Experts in ecology, social sciences and management deliver lectures.
