Starting in 2026, invitations to study (renewals) at higher education institutions in Ukraine must be requested online through the Unified System for Issuing Electronic Invitations. To apply for an electronic invitation, you must create your own online account by following this link: https://apply.studyinukraine.gov.ua.
To apply for an electronic invitation, you must attach scanned copies of your passport and educational documents. If these documents are not in Ukrainian or English, translations into Ukrainian are required.
After receiving the electronic invitation, the applicant takes remote exams in mathematics and the language of instruction for bachelor’s programs, and in the language of instruction and a specialized exam for master’s programs.
- The invitation is valid for 6 months from the date of activation;
- The cost of using the Unified System’s services is 3,100 UAH.
Admission of international applicants for study funded by individuals and/or legal entities may be conducted by KNURE:
twice a year: by April 30 and by November 1 for bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees
Tuition fees for full-time study:
– for bachelor’s programs: $1,300 (all majors and educational programs, except C1 – Economics and International Economic Relations, where tuition is $1,625)
– for master’s programs: $1,690 (all majors and educational programs, except C1 – Economics and International Economic Relations, where tuition is $2,125)
Languages of instruction: Ukrainian, English.
Tuition fees for part-time study:
– for bachelor’s programs: $700 (all majors and educational programs, except C1 – Economics and International Economic Relations, where tuition is $600)
– for master’s programs: $1,000
Language of instruction: Ukrainian.
The university provides the services of an agency to assist with enrollment procedures and subsequent studies and stay in Ukraine. The cost of the agency’s services is the equivalent of $300.
To be admitted to KNURE, applicants must provide a passport and an educational document with a notarized translation into Ukrainian.
Individuals arriving to study at KNURE in Kharkiv receive a temporary residence permit and a place in a dormitory.
