The departments of the faculty fruitfully cooperate with world-famous companies: LG Electronics, LG Energy Solution, FESTO, JABIL Circuit, FLEX, Philip Morris, Siemens PLM, Autodesk, Phoenix Contact, KAPELOU, National Instruments, Texas Instruments. Academic mobility programs and double degree programs are constantly implemented for students at universities in Poland (Polytechnics of Wroclaw and Lodz) and Germany.
Dean of the Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies Oleksandr Ivanovich Filipenko:
“If you know and are interested in such modern technologies as:
- SMART HOME and SMART-Factory,
- SMART THINGS, IoT and Industrial IoT,
- 3D-prototyping, ROBOTICS and AVIONICS
– then you are at the Faculty of AKT. And if you have not heard what it is – then we are also waiting for you at the Faculty of AKT and are ready to teach you how to automate and intellectualize the space around you.
What an automation system includes is sensors, a computer or controller, communications and actuators. The departments of the faculty teach how to combine these elements together and build such systems, create algorithms and software for them, use them for various applications – in everyday life and in the office, in the enterprise and transport, in particular aviation.
Our friends and partners – world-famous companies – will help you learn this:
- Korean LG Electronics and LG Enegy Solution
- German FESTO, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Phoenix Contact and KAPELOU
- American Jabil, FLEX, Global Logic
- Italian CAMOZZI
With their assistance, the departments have created modern training laboratories, in these companies you have the opportunity to undergo professional training and industrial practice.
You can get modern knowledge not only within the walls of the university, but also from its international partners. The faculty has been implementing a large-scale international academic mobility program for many years, in which more than 50 students of all specialties of the faculty participate annually. During the semester, students simultaneously study theory at the Wrocław University of Technology and undergo practical training at LG Electronics and LG Energy Solution companies near Wrocław in the Republic of Poland.
Or you can complete a pre-graduate internship and defend certification works at the enterprises of the American companies Jabil and FLEX.
Modern technologies are rapidly filling life with intelligent devices and systems. And graduates of the Faculty of Automation and Computer Technologies are those who create such technologies.
We are waiting for creative, determined, fans of cyber-devices and cyber-systems ready to change the world around us, filling it with technologies of the future.
