Department of Economic Сybernetics and Management of Economic Security

We shape a new vision of economics, analytics, and management – focused on data-driven thinking, decision-making under uncertainty, and leadership in the era of digital transformation.

Our educational programs:

  • Economic Analytics (bachelor’s degree, specialty С1 Economics and International Economic Relations, specialization С1.01 Economics)
  • Economic Cybernetics (master’s degree, specialty С1 Economics and International Economic Relations, specialization С1.01 Economics)
  • Management (master’s degree, specialty D3 Management)
  • Economics (postgraduate studies, specialty С1 Economics and International Economic Relations)

What makes us unique: We offer economic and managerial education within an IT university, a truly tech-driven setting.

The curricula combine classical economics and management with digital thinking — the ability to work with data, model economic processes, apply analytical tools, and maintain strategic agility amid rapid and unpredictable changes.

Why choose us:

  • to empower a new generation of economists and managers who confidently navigate the digital landscape;
  • to help students build the necessary technical background, no prior experience required;
  • to ensure an interdisciplinary environment through collaboration with all faculties of NURE;
  • to involve practitioners, business partners, and industry experts in teaching;
  • to provide opportunities for developing foreign language skills in an academic context.

Our graduates build careers in business, banking, logistics, analytical centers, the non-profit sector, including public institutions, as well as in digital communications and consulting.

They work as analysts (economic, business, financial, marketing), business architects, specialists in development and change management, logistics experts, market researchers, experts in digital content and online presence, as well as team, project, and company leaders.

The department’s research focuses on sustainable development, digital transformation, and economic security. We cultivate our own scientific schools, organize conferences, participate in international projects, and support student initiatives – from research hubs to involvement in grant programs.
