Department of Computer Radio Engineering and Technical Information Security Systems

The department is a profiling (graduating) department which provides training for students in three stages of the higher education: bachelor on specialty 125 “Cybersecurity”, educational program “Technical information security systems”, on specialty 172 “Telecommunications and radiotehnika” educational program “Radiotehnika”, master on specialty 125 “Cybersecurity”, in specialization “Technical information security systems”, on specialty 172 “Telecommunications and radiotehnika” specialization “Radiotehnika”, doctor of philosophy on specialty 125 “Cybersecurity” and specialty 172 “Telecommunications and radiotehnika”.

The department was founded in 1946 and for more than 70 years has been training highly qualified specialists with a broad outlook and fundamental knowledge. The department has a large laboratory base, which is used both for scientific research and for the educational process.

Teachers of the department conduct research in the field of European higher education standards, which allow introducing advanced teaching methods, establishing contacts for new international exchanges.

Students who study at the Department of Computer Radio Engineering and Technical Information Security Systems  have the opportunity to take part in the exchange of students under the EU Erasmus + program and to attend a number of courses at the University of Limoges (France) with the capability of obtaining a second diploma.
