In 1994, on the basis of the industrial laboratory of the TAPR (KITAM) department by the order of the rector of KhSTURE №109 from 16.11.1994r. A problem scientific-research laboratory (PSRL) “VOSPI Technologies” was created. Directions of scientific and experimental design activities and PSI capabilities cover of all stages of creating structures and production technologies for components of fiber-optic systems.
Taking into account the increase in the weight of studies on the direction of microelectromechanical systems and their relevance, the PSRL “VOSPI Technologies” in 2008 was renamed the PRL “Microelectromechanical and microoptoelectromechanical systems”. According to the Regulations on the PSRL, the Problem Laboratory uses production facilities, equipment, measuring instruments and devices that are available to the department, organizes its activities in the premises assigned to the department.
At various times, the administrative heads of the laboratory were: prof. Filipenko O. (1994-2004), prof. Palagin V. (2005-2015), assoc. prof. Razumov-Frizyuk E. (since 2015).
Research directions
Territorially PSRL works in the premises of a training laboratory. Scientific research is conducted in lesson-free time.
Educational process
The cycle of textbooks created within the framework of the work of the PSRL “Fundamentals of the production of electronic devices”, “Technology of interconnections of electronic equipment”, “Introduction to micro-technology and nanotechnology” was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology.
Major scientific achievements
Within the work of the PSRL, scientific projects are carried out at the expense of the state budget (from 2002 to the present, only 10 projects) and contractual works commissioned by industrial enterprises of Ukraine. Teachers, graduate students and students, based on the results of scientific and research work on the basis of this laboratory, receive patents, author’s certificates and certificates every year: 15 patents of Ukraine for inventions and 3 author’s certificates were received in total. Doctoral and Candidate dissertations were defended. In particular:
- Sychova O. V. – «Automation of photonic crystal fibers connection processes», specialty 05.13.07 – automation of control processes
- Chala O. O. – «Technological quality assurance of substrates of functional components of microoptoelectromechanical systems», specialty 05.27.06 – Technology, equipment and production of electronics.
Based on the results of the work of the PSRL, the material and technical basis for the opening of a new specialization for the preparation of masters “Intellectual technologies of microsystem radioelectronic equipment” was created, which was included in the list of a new list of specialties approved by the MES.
