The main purpose of the project is to promote and disseminate the European experience for effectiveness in the integration of the future-proof cybersecurity ecosystem in Ukraine through active outreach and educational work at institutional and national levels with the involvement of representatives of all interested parties from business to governance sectors.
For the achievement of this purpose, the project has the next specific objectives:
- Study of the EU framework, acts, regulations, directives, and policies on cybersecurity, AI and big data for preparing the EU cybersecurity guide and distributing it to all interested parties.
- Developing and conducting courses based on EU experience in cybersecurity and aligned with EU standards to spread knowledge about the EU cybersecurity ecosystem to the wider society and integrate it into the educational process of Ukrainian universities.
- Conducting Workshops and roundtable to promote and disseminate European experience for effectiveness integrating the future-proof cybersecurity ecosystem in Ukraine and fosters dialogue between the academic world, public and private sectors.
Courses:
- EU Regulatory Frameworks and Standards for Cybersecurity Ecosystem
The main objective of this course is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and standards governing cybersecurity in the European Union.
- EU Cybersecurity and Resilience: ICT Ecosystem
The primary goal of this course is to equip participants with an in-depth understanding of the cybersecurity landscape within the ICT ecosystem as a key component of resilience.
- European Approach to Counter against Online Disinformation as a Threat to Democracy
This course aims to review European approaches to disinformation, the role of disinformation in undermining democratic processes, case studies, and examples of online disinformation campaigns targeting EU countries. It also focuses on promoting the preservation of democratic values, principles, and institutions in the face of emerging threats.
- EU Best Practices for Trustworthy and Reliable AI
The main objective of this course is to provide knowledge on EU policies, strategies, and recommendations for mitigating risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI). The course is based on the study of threats and risks related to the implementation of AI in modern digital services.
