  1. What does the Fund do? It contributes to the development of education, material and spiritual support for young talents, as well as those who need it most of all.

 

  1. What is the program “Modern Education for Rural Children”? The program “Modern Education for Rural Children” is designed to support talented children from rural areas who seek to obtain a quality higher education, get a profession and realize themselves as a person, and who, due to socio-economic conditions, cannot receive sufficient financial support from parents or from the state.

The program provides:

  • personalized academic scholarships of the Charity Fund “Believe in Yourself” for the Bachelor’s degree (provided for a year, requires annual confirmation);
  • charitable assistance to pay for the hostel while studying for a Bachelor’s degree;
  • grants for individual student projects (travel related to participation in conferences, seminars, networking events, etc.), first of all, to those students who are focused on leadership development, research on particularly important topics for society, inventions, social activity, personal achievements that contribute to the implementation of the declared values of the Fund.

 

510 children have already become scholarship holders of the Fund.

 

  1. What is it in a “human” language? What will the Foundation’s scholarship holder receive?
  • Personalized annual scholarship in the amount of 1500 – 2000 UAH a month.
  • Payment for the hostel per year.
  • Money for the implementation of its project idea focused on the development of leadership, research on particularly important topics for society, inventions, social activity, which will contribute to the values of the Fund.
  • A scholarship holder becomes a member of the great Fund family, participates in joint events, makes new friends and enlists the support of companions.

 

  1. What projects of the Fund can the scholarship holder take part in? In addition to the ideas of its own projects, the Fund implements two large projects “Rise” and “Family”, where the main participants and mentors are the Fund members.

 

  1. What is the “Rise” project? The Project “Rise” is a workshop of leadership and project management for young people, created with the aim to intensifyrural youth to proactive participation in the life of their communities by educating leadership skills, project thinking and experience of impact on the world through the implementation of their own projects.

“Rise” is a joint project with the agricultural industrial holding “Astarta-Kyiv”, the International Women’s Club, the UN Global Compact in Ukraine, the Charity Fund “Believe in Yourself” and the Ukrainian Leadership Academy.

  1. What is the “Develop yourself. Integrate. Act.” project? This is a cultural and language camp for the Fund’s beneficiaries and rural schoolchildren, aimed at improving the level of English through communication with native speakers, familiarization and comparison of American and Ukrainian culture, leadership training and attracting young people to create their own projects with the opportunity to implement them in villages and communities.

  1. We also have a great event forum. The “Believe in Yourself” forum is a one-day event for scholarship holders and participants of the programs of the Charity Fund “Believe in Yourself”. At the forum, young people will be able to listen to inspiring speeches of successful people who come from villages or small towns and see firsthand the path of success of today’s leaders from different industries. Such performances motivate to believe in yourself and in the business that a person wants to do in future.

Workshops and discussion panels will help forum participants to realize their role in society and show opportunities for the development of their own community in the area that is most interesting to them.

The informal program will allow participants to get acquainted with the leading public organizations of Ukraine, interesting projects, volunteer associations, private companies and international programs.
