“Believe in Yourself” (“Povir u Sebe”) Charity Foundation Programme Participation Conditions

The aim of the financial support of the Foundation is the assistance to talented KNURE students (educational level – bachelor), who study for the government order, live in KNURE hostels and who lived in the rural territory or urban-type settlements, demonstrate successful academic progress, or there is a grounded expectation that they will be successfully showing academic results in KNURE.

The students who want to participate in the competitive programme “Modern education for a country child” of the “Believe in yourself” Charity foundation must:

  1. Prepare and provide documents up to September, 27 for the competition committee (the documents are handed in to a special official of the corresponding dean’s office).
  2. Additionally, email to elena.linnyk@nure.ua with the topic “Essay. Competition. Charity Foundation” and attach only a file with the essay.

It is crucial to indicate the first name, the last name and the academic group.

Attention!

After the document package is considered by the committee, an interview is held with a Charity foundation representative and competition committee members. On the interview results there will be made a decision as for the student’s participation in the Foundation scholarship program.

During the interview first year students make a short presentation of themselves and retell their essay. Time – 4 minutes.

2nd – 4th year students prepare a talk with the presentation up to 5 slides on the topic of the essay “Studying at KNURE – my achievements and victories”. Time – 2 minutes.

Documents necessary for the scholarship programme of “Believe in Yourself” Charity Foundation participation

For 1st year students:

  • application in a free form to the name of the university programme curator curator – assistant to the rector Linnyk Olena;
  • passport photocopy;
  • external independent evaluation certificate photocopy;
  • school progress record photocopy;
  • family composition certificate;
  • family endowment certificate;
  • school pedagogical-council reference-characteristic;
  • photocopies of other documents, which prove scientific and creative achievements;
  • 2 photos: (4,5×3,5 cm);
  • a two-A4-format-page-long essay on the topic “University of my dream and my future profession’ or “My education and how I can be beneficial for Ukraine”

For 2nd – 4th year students (years 2-4)

  • application in a free form addressed to the name of the university programme curator – assistant to the rector Linnyk Olena;
  • passport photocopy ;
  • photocopy of the external independent  certificate;
  • copy of the rating grades certificate for the prior academic period (the average rating for the period has to be within the range of 86-100 score);
  • family composition certificate;
  • family endowment certificate;
  • reference-characteristic certificate signed by the dean;
  • photocopies of other documents, which confirm scientific and creative achievements;
  • 2 (4.5×3.5 cm) photos;
  • a two-A4-format-page-long essay on the topic “Studying at KNURE – my achievements and victories” and a presentation on the topic. You can say what you would like to change in yourself, in your family, city, university, people, and country in a specific branch or sphere.
