NURE team won the Ukrainian Programming Cup

On the fourth of August the results of the Ukrainian Programming Cup, which was held during June-August, were summed up. The main initiator and organizer of the Cup was the Department of Software Engineering of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. Senior Lecturer of PE Department Alexander Samantsov was responsible for technical implementation.
A total of 132 teams were registered. 53 student teams, 69 schoolchildren teams, and 10 veteran teams.
There were teams from Odessa, Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipro, Poltava, Vinnitsa, Zaporizhzhia, Uzhgorod, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, and Chernihiv. There were a lot of teams from Kiev, Berezan and Slavutich (Kiev region). There were also teams from Kremenchug, Alexandria, Khust (Transcarpathian region), Husyatin (Ternopil region), Rogatyn (Ivano-Frankivsk region), Chernomorsk (Odessa region), Pokrovska (Donetsk region), Bakhmach (Chernihiv region), Gorodok (Khmelnitsky region).
The Cup consisted of 10 stages, held every week. Each stage was held as a classic competition for 5 hours.
After completion of the main stage of the competition participants received a review of the problems, communicated with each other and had the opportunity to solve the problems that they could not solve during the main stage.
The competition was held in two divisions. Participants themselves chose which division to participate in. The first division for more experienced participants, professionals with more complex tasks, the second – for beginners and students who are just beginning to learn and implement the algorithms and data structures.
NURE was represented in the competition by 10 teams.
For each stage the team received points according to the occupied place and the number of solved problems.
In the second division the young team of the University of Radio Electronics [KhNURE] LLlyMePeHKu in the composition: Denis Ryabtsev (PZPI-20-5), Artem Dyachenko (PZPI-20-5), Dmitro Golodnikov (PZPI-20-4) and Kirill Timchenko -5), won second place.
In the first division, the team [KhNURE] Energy is not over in the Ukrainian Programming Cup won: Matvey Aslandukov (SSHIM-20-2), Igor Barenblat (ITINF-19-1) and Oleg Vallas (graduate of PE Department).
