NURE scientists were awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of education

On October 2, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, scientists of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics were awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of education in 2019 in the nomination “Vocational and Technical Education”.

The author’s team successfully implemented the task of building an inclusive educational environment, which promotes the development of vocational education and training of skilled workers and junior professionals from among people with special needs, provides them with equal access to vocational and professional higher education. The results were obtained due to the development and implementation of the latest training and production technologies based on the achievements of information and communication technologies, modern computer and microprocessor control devices, in particular, fiber optic information systems, micro-nanosystem technology MEMS, robotics, 3D printing, Surface Mounted Technologies (SMT) – production, etc. The authors have implemented a systematic approach that closely links the processes of education, socialization and rehabilitation of people with special needs. This is achieved by combining the forms and content of the educational process with individual correctional rehabilitation measures aimed at restoring the optimal physical, intellectual, mental and social standard of living of such persons.

The theory of organization of integrated inclusive education of persons with SN in educational institutions is also developed, which is based on a combination of methods of improving educational, scientific, educational and production components of training and rehabilitation measures by creating centers of support of such persons and training according to international standards. Significantly increased the level of training and production process and the effectiveness of training of persons with SN. A barrier-free integrated learning space with real access to education has been built through the creation and effective work in educational institutions of resource and special training and rehabilitation centers of different levels;  introduction of a system of training specialists in rehabilitation and social support of persons with SN according to international standards;  improving the educational component of the integrated educational environment by introducing into the educational process an interactive learning system based on the network infrastructure and virtual educational and innovative environment of the educational institution; introduction of informatization and knowledge-intensive education as a resource for the formation of a system of inclusive educational services; creation and use of a modern laboratory base for conducting experiments from remote terminals. The results of this work were disseminated in institutions of vocational and professional higher education, which are structural units of universities or their partners within the research, training and production complexes, in particular, the complex “Technology and Automation”.

In total, 13 colleges and vocational schools of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytsky regions, several well-known industrial enterprises in Ukraine are involved in this work.

280 scientific papers were published, including: 7 textbooks; 41 textbooks; 7 monographs; 23 patents; 123 articles in scientific journals;  10 methodical instructions; 2 technical conditions for state certification of developed laboratory equipment; 3 industry standards of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine; 53 publications in the SCOPUS database; 5 dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences and 6 dissertations for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences were defended.
