On March 17, a regular meeting of the permanent seminar on the implementation of NURE tasks to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals was held.
The topic of the seminar: “Ensuring the implementation of the provisions of the NURE Development Strategy to improve the sustainable development indicators”.

1. Review of the existing Regulations and other regulatory documents of NURE on gender equality, diversity and inclusion.
2. Proposals for the revision and improvement of NURE’s regulatory documents in terms of reflecting the Sustainable Development Goals.

1. Scientific Director of the Benchmarking and Web Management Department Chala L.E. that all issues related to the University’s commitment to sustainable development, implementation of strategies and policies on inclusion, gender equality, diversity, reduction of inequality, decent work and economic growth, etc. are covered partially and unevenly in various regulatory documents – the Statute of NURE, the Collective Agreement, the Strategy and Perspective Directions for the Development of Educational, Scientific and Innovative Activities of NURE, the Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process, etc.
The introduction of global university rankings that assess the contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals has raised the issue of providing relevant evidence in the form of relevant regulations.
Currently, there is a need to develop and adopt separate regulations that define the University’s efforts and activities to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
2. Head of the Center for Gender Education Korobkina T.V. with a proposal on the composition of the working group to prepare draft regulations that will determine the policy of NURE on equality, diversity, inclusion, healthy lifestyle, and mental health support.
Resolved:
– To create a working group to implement the NURE Development Strategy and improve NURE’s sustainability indicators in international rankings.
– To develop proposals for a structural unit to organize work on inclusion and psychological support.
– To ensure the preparation of the “Policy of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion” and its submission for approval to the Academic Council.
– To ensure the preparation of the Policy on Healthy Lifestyles and Mental Health Support and its submission to the Academic Council for approval.
– To develop a Program for the development of inclusive education.
