10-15 September 2018 the 7th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Information Systems and Technologies IST-2018″was held. The Conference dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the PM department, the 55th anniversary of the PE department and the 40th anniversary of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Information Technology of the O.M. Beketov NUUE.
Congratulation of the Conference Chairman, Rector V.V. Sements, was read by the Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee Kobzev V.V. The work of the conference is focused on scientific directions that have been developing most dynamically in recent years and affect the pace of development and the level of achievements of many modern branches of science and technology. V.V. Semenets wished all the participants of the conference good health, fruitful work and new scientific achievements in the current directions of development and application of information systems and technologies.
During five days, 5 plenary reports and 43 oral speeches were heard; some of them remotely, three doctoral and one PhD were presented and discussed in various areas of the conference.
Particularly noteworthy plenary presentations:
- Tevyashev A.D. “Information and analytical technologies for managing the modes of operation of pipeline energy systems”;
- Petrushin L.B., V. Stefanik spoke about the fundamental fundamentals of the primary transformation of information in information systems;
- Bezkorovainy V.V. “System optimization of large-scale objects using an aggregative-decomposition approach”;
- Kobzev presented the report “Information technologies for monitoring the quality of education at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics”;
- Luzhetsky V.A. outlined the current state of the achievements in the field of information security and presented the report “Information Transfer and Processing”.
Prof. Tevyashev A.D. presented the history, achievements and immediate plans of the Department of Applied Mathematics, which he heads. Emphasis was placed on the need to maintain a high level of fundamental mathematical training for specialists in various fields. Many graduates of the department of different years work in different positions at the university of radio electronics, at various state and scientific enterprises, in educational and scientific institutions of Ukraine and abroad. Their reports are traditionally present at all ICT conferences, which are organized and conducted by the department, including at this year’s conference.
Prof. Dudar Z.V. from the position of the head of the department, she described in detail the history of the establishment and formation of the Department of Software Engineering, listed the main achievements and outlined the guidelines for further development. The presentation focused on the round dates of the use of the term “Software Engineering” and the anniversary of the release of the first specialists of this specialty.
Interesting and informative reports were made by prof. Bezkorovainy V.V. “Modeling of Technological Chains for Quality Control of Products of New Equipment”, prof. Kirichenko L.A. “Classification of Fractal Time Series by Machine Learning Methods” and prof. Rutkas A.G. “Equivalent Pepresentation and Decomposition of Control Descriptor Systems”; prof. Sharonova N.V. “Towards the Ontology-based Approach for Factual Information Matching”, prof. Bondarenko V. “Analysis of Systems With Distributed Parameters by The Composition Method”, prof. Shumeyko A.A. “On the Construction of Spline Regression Models”, prof. Gunchenko, Yu.A. and Kazakova N.F. “Localization of an Autonomous Robot by The Particle Filter Method”, prof. Shvorov S.A. “Intellectual Control System for The Collection and Processing of Energy Crops in Biogas Complexes”.
Part of the conference was a discussion of three doctoral theses: A. Pichugin. “Mathematical Modeling of Euclidean Combinatorial Configurations”, S. Choporova “Numerical Analysis of Technical Objects in CAD Based on Discrete Models”, Shilo G.M. “Statistically-oriented Methods for Design Approval of Radio-electronic Devices” and PhD thesis – Okopny R.P. “Hardware and Software Controls The Heating system to Provide Heat Consumption Modes”.
The conference was attended by scientists from Kiev, Kharkov, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Vinnitsa, Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Sumy and other cities of Ukraine, as well as from Poland and Belarus.
