Educational Program Computerized and Robotic Systems

The educational and professional program «Computerized and Robotic Systems» is aimed on training of specialists of the second (master’s) level of higher education, able for comprehensive solving of complex tasks and problems of Industry 5.0, creating, improving, modernizing, operating, and maintaining software and hardware for computerized and robotic systems, their components, intelligent control systems, and decision support systems as part of various types of cyber-physical systems, combining digital transformation technologies with the objectives of sustainable development and climate neutrality, facilitating the rapid adaptation of products and services of enterprises and companies in accordance with the requirements of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through the implementation of computerized hardware-software tools and robots.

The educational program «Computerized and Robotic Systems» provides advanced theoretical and practical training using specialized software for the design, development, and operation of computerized and robotic systems, intelligent control systems, decision support systems, embedded digital devices and systems, Internet of Things technologies, taking into account in professional activities the requirements for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the impact of decisions on society and the environment.

The graduating Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies, Automation and Robotics (CITAR) https://tapr.nure.ua/ actively develops international cooperation, offering students wide opportunities to participate in academic mobility programs, summer and winter schools, research internships, as well as in international educational projects and grant initiatives through established partnerships with foreign universities and research institutions, students have the opportunity to gain experience in intercultural interaction, work in multidisciplinary teams, and get acquainted with the best global practices in the field of automation, robotics, intelligent control systems, and cyber-physical technologies.

Students of the educational program have the opportunity to study in a dual format, combining education with practice at high-tech enterprises. This format makes it possible to gain practical experience in designing, programming, and implementing robotic and computerized systems, which significantly enhances the level of training of young specialists.

In addition, students are actively involved in research activities, project team work, participation in engineering hackathons, startup initiatives, exhibitions, forums, trainings, and industry seminars.

Special attention in the educational process is paid to modern digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), embedded digital devices, decision support systems, intelligent robotic control, as well as the principles of climate neutrality, digital and sustainable transformation. Students master tools for the development and implementation of digital solutions for Smart-manufacturing and Smart-environments, which meet the needs of modern Industry 5.0.

Studying in this program is an investment in the future of an innovative specialist capable of responding to contemporary challenges, implementing digital transformation technologies, ensuring the sustainability of solutions, and creating a new generation of robotic systems that serve both people and the environment.
