On March 6, the Kharkiv City Classic Bench Press Championship took place. Athletes of the powerlifting team of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the Competition. According to the results in the weight categories, among the girls the winners were: Victoria Akhremenko (ITSHI-17-1) won first place, Marina Murzina and Maria Mazel (KIUKI-19-2) took second place. Among the boys, in their weight categories, Igor Lukienko (ACTSIu-18-2), Ivan Hrytsenko (KIUKI-18-5) and Oleksandr Narvatov (PZPI-19-2) won gold.
In the absolute weight category, the three winners among girls were: Victoria Akhremenko – second place, Maryna Murzina – third place. Among boys – Alexander Narvatov took first place, and Ivan Gritsenko won third place.
According to the results of the competitions, which are qualifying as the Championship of Ukraine in bench press, the team of NURE received 10 medals. Coach of the team of the University of Radio Electronics in powerlifting is the senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Natalia Didyuk.
