Education

1998 – graduated from Kharkiv State Technical University of Radio Electronics, speciality – «Radio technics», radio engineer.

1998-2001 – graduate student of Biomedical Electronic Devices and Systems KSTURE/KNURE.

2001 – Candidate of technical Sciences , speciality 05.11.17 –  Medical Devices and Systems.

2002-2003 – Assistant at the BME Department. 

2003-2005 – Senior teacher at the BME Department.

2006-2012 – Associate Professor at the BME Department.

2013 – Doctor of technical Sciences, speciality 05.11.17 –  Biological and  Medical Devices and Systems.

2013 – Professor at the BME Department.

Educational work 

Teaches technical informatics disciplines for programming of microprocessor systems & FPGA and methods for digital processing of biomedical images. 

 

Scientific work

Scientific work is related to the analysis of biomedical images, 3D modeling and visualization, medical training and E-learning systems, processing of microscopic images, the development of methods and tools for functional diagnosis of nasal breathing and computer planning for minimally invasive surgery. He trained 8 candidates of Sciences (PhD). He is a member of the Specialized Scientific Councils in KNURE and NTU “KhPI” on a specialty 05.11.17 – Biological and  Medical Devices and Systems. Holds seminars and master-classes of students scientific society, dedicated to the problems of biomedical engineering.  Full member of the Academy of Sciences of Applied Radio Electronics.

Supervisor of international student startups. 

Public and international activities

Moderator of Scientific Round Tables in V.G. Korolenko Scientific library.

He maintains an active international scientific activities of the BMBF, DAAD, Tempus and Erasmus + projects. He is a guest professor at the University of them. Leibniz Hannover (Germany) and Harbin University of Engineering (China). 

Honor and Awards

Awarded a diploma of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for the development of the principles of the system work for magnetic stereotactic neurosurgery, diplomas “High school Kharkіv. Best names” in 2012 and 2015 years.

Other information

Hobbies – Sailing (Yacht skipper coastal class, World Sailing), stand modeling and music (piano).

Born August 26, 1976 in Kharkiv sity.
