Murad Omarov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, paid a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku. Where he took part in the 3rd Eurasian Conference on Energy and Sustainable Development “Dynamic Energy Landscape of Eurasia: Global Threats to Energy Security, Regional Challenges and Opportunities”, at the Azerbaijan Technical University, met with vice-rectors and heads of departments of AzTU, as well as with masters who this year entered NURE within the framework of the double degree program between universities.
On November 30, Murad Omarov met with Fatih Yilmaz, coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Baku. In the Azerbaijan Technical University, as a result of cooperation with TIKA, a laboratory “Cezeri Lab” was created, which has good opportunities for training students. This year it was planned to open such a laboratory at the University of Radio Electronics, unfortunately, the war prevented it.
During his stay in Baku Murad Omarov met with First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Taras Tymchyshyn and Economic Counselor Oleg Klinchenko. The issues of assistance of the Embassy to the cooperation of NURE with educational institutions of Azerbaijan for training and retraining of personnel were discussed.
