Behavioral Next Generation in Wireless Networks for Cyber Security (BEiNG-WISE)

Project COST Action CA22104 – Behavioral Next Generation in Wireless Networks for Cyber Security (BEiNG-WISE)

Project Goal: To promote the development of new unconventional wireless cyber security solutions that encompass both technical and social characteristics.

The main coordination objectives of the BEiNG-WISE research are to:

  • Serve as a pan-European platform. Realize the ambitious goal of introducing and promoting a radical paradigm shift in cybersecure wireless communication by developing “responsible” and “resilient” solutions.
  • Raise awareness. Develop and coordinate new approaches to increase awareness among cyber users.
  • Foster interdisciplinary research. Promote interaction by defining new metrics that can jointly account for both human factors and technical aspects during the design phase.
  • Unite diverse communities. Bring together members of different communities into an interdisciplinary, sustainable community to analyze specific open cybersecurity challenges from a renewed perspective, enriched by specific approaches from various research fields.
  • Support the 3-R scientific approach. Promote repeatability, reproducibility, and replicability (Repeatability, Reproducibility & Replicability) for advanced security solutions developed within the project based on technical and societal requirements through appropriate information exchange.
  • Develop a new scientific direction. Support the growth of a new scientific field where technical, social, and legal factors are considered jointly and synergistically, rather than independently of each other.

Project Timeline:
