As part of the celebration of its 95th anniversary, NURE is launching a series of free educational events for schoolchildren in the city to implement the principles of social responsibility.
This project aims to strengthen the University’s ties with the city community, promote science among young people, and provide equal access to educational resources. We believe that our museum, lecture halls, and laboratories are not only an educational base but also a public space for the entire community. Our goal is to share knowledge, inspire the next generation, and make our history accessible to everyone. This is not just a tour, it is our contribution to the development of the community and education in Kharkiv.
The first tour has already taken place. Participants visited the University History Museum, which is part of our shared heritage. They learned stories behind the scenes of lecture halls and modern laboratories where innovations are born. They saw with their own eyes and, importantly, touched unique exhibits – true works of science and technology.
The group was guided by Valery Leiko, a well-known Kharkiv historian and public figure, director of the Museum of Childhood in Kharkiv, which emphasises cooperation between institutions for the city’s development.
Three more similar events are planned for September and October.
NURE is open to cooperation and is happy to share its history with future generations of Kharkiv residents.
